[NB: since in his death act his wife was stated as Dina Gazan, it seems he did not divorce from her and that he never did marry secondly to her (younger) niece Rebecca Isaac Gazan -- In contradition to his death act (1827 Middelharnis) is a statement in the act of acquaintance at the marriage of Joseph Isaac van der Sluis (b. 1796 Maassluis -- cf) that his cicumciser A.D. Stibbe died shortly after december 1796. It looks like he didn’t really die, but left Maassluis. But whereto? -- further checking in Middelharnis and Maassluis might clarify]
