Notes for Grietje/ Judik b’ Levi Stokvis
also stated as ‘Margaretha Stokvisch’
daughter of Levie b’ Salomon/Shlomo Stokvis (d. 6.1.1809 — buried Zeeburg) & Jacomina/Jachet b’ Abraham Cohen (d. 28.8.1807 — buried Zeeburg)
[NB: contradictions about her birth date -- in the act of her second marriage she is stated as “widow of Mozes Marcus Goudsmit, born in the month March 1783 in Rotterdam”, and also by deduction from her age at death she would have been born in 1783 (though in Amsterdam!). If this is correct she can not be the mother of Mozes’ oldest daughter Basje (Betje/Elisabeth) Goudsmit, who most likely was born in 1795 (deduced from her age 16 at Naamsaanneming in 1811 and also from several later acts)
The most correct data are given in Akevoth ®3. Conclusion: the Notoriety act of her second marriage is totally wrong, and also the age mentioned in her death act]
