Marriage act: “his parents (NN & NN) died before 1707; at his marriage he is assisted by Jacob Lazarus; living Amsterdam Antoniesbreestraat.” he signs litterally: “Gabriel Goudsmit”
[ The only other follow-up in Holland, found so far, is the burial of his wife where his surname is mentioned as “Sjt’oker” (spelling in the Muiderberg Book ®6), rather like the usual surname of Bendit Shtokkert. More arguments are: (a) his father started a businees in dutch products, (b) the narrow relation between the families Goldschmidt-Kassel and Flesch/Flasche, as some members are living in the same house “Birnbaum” or in houses next to eachother.....]
