Notes for Blume b’ Moshe Aach segal z Kanne
[NB: acc to ET, quoting 2 mentions (MF as well as Li) she is married in 1618/19. This marriage date 1619 is only possible if Blum is born not later than 1605, which means the marriage of her parents, dated in 1618 (though marked with a ? in ET) can not be correct. That marriage date should be: ca 1600. This corrected date would make the lineage of Blume’s ancestors tighter and not possible in the way it has been given in ET and Epidat. — Furthermore there are other mismatches in some of the ET records concerning the Aach family. Obviously a revision of the descending lineage is needed!! A lot can be solved by assuming that Blume’s father Moshe b’ Merdche is the brother of Merdche b’ Merdche, instead of his son [cf]. This assumption is applied in this genealogy — tentatively, till further research — JG]
