# ‘the Rabbi’ [Joseph] Juda-Leib b’ Gumpricht Oppenheim (born aft 1611; d. 4.12.1695 in Metz, France)
[NB: ET gives 2 different Record-sheets about two Oppenheims named Gumpricht:
(1) “died abt 1623: Gumpricht b’ ‘the Parnas’ Leib Oppenheim z Blume z goldenen Knopf — married (1609 or 10) to NN — 1 child: Fraidle, who married in 1627 to Shimon from Hildesheim — likely left Frankfurt, with wife, daughter and son-in-law”
(2) “died abt 1630: ‘ha-kadosh’ Gumpricht b’ Moshe Oppenheim z Schwert — married (abt 1615) to Shatle b’ NN — 2 children —etcetera — not certain but nearly certain assuming that his father was Moshe”
[in Epidat ®30 is argued that the ET-assumption is not correct and gives the right details, a combination of both: cf wrm-1268 etc]
