[NB — lineage dilemma: ET and Epidat mention his father’s second spouse Taibchen Wertheim being his mother, because he names his daughter after her — which would implicate that Zanwel is born 1667 or later. This seems rather questionable, the more as nowhere is noted that Zanwel died young and also the marriage-date of Zanwel’s son Michel, indicated in ET as being earlier than 1697, would be not possible — JG]
