He was “Rezeptor der Paderborner Judenschaft” untill 1646, then moved to Minden and in 1649 to Lemgo, where he lived as “Schutzjude” under the protection of the Counts of Lippe untill ca 1667 — and was in this privileged roll a predecessor of Samuel b’ Isaak Goldschmidt Hameln.
