But in several respects this seems dubious; [ET:] (1) “Henle as diminutive of Chon or Elchanan is possible but quite unusual” and above all: (2) “nowhere else is ‘morenu’ mentioned as his predicate”. Also [JG:] (3) the designation “alte” is not matching with Chaim’s highest possible age.
