1543 He and Zalman v Eppstein are the owners of the (altere) goldener Schwan, each for the half.
[NB: Zalman/Shlomo b’ Maier (b’ Wolf) Eppstein-Schanfeld (d. 1545) was already since abt 1530 living in the house with wife Hester and children]
1564 Shmul and his brother Josef get from the jewish kehilla the permission to buy the Ochse ground
— there is scarce info in ET about his brothers Josef b’Ishai Landau and Jakov b’ Ishai Landau, who was the stepfather of Moshe Bonn (d. 9.11.1569)
