[ET, Gw] Jakob is mentioned in several Records as a “Vormund” (guardian, custodian): for the children of Rechlin z Schwan (1561-1565), for the children of Abraham z Flasche (1566-68) and for the child of Isak z Einhorn (= Aschaffenburg Goldschmidt) — [ET, quoting Ju.1561-9v: “Bei s. Tod hinterliess er [Isak] ein kleines kind, Mordechai z Einhorn und Bestellte z Vormund seinen Bruder, einen von der Mutterseite und als Nichtverwandte Jakob z Blume” — three guardians were appointed by Isak Aachaffenburg over his little child Mordechai z Einhorn: (1) his brother [Simon], (2) one from his mother’s side and (3) as non-related: Jakob z Blume [cf also ®48]
