(1440) “ *( Mayer dez Yohels Juden eneklein factus est civis feria quinta ante Katherine virginis und gibt ein jare 32 guldein werung halb Walpurgis und halb Michahelis und tritt an Walpurgis anno XL . )” [NB: maybe “eneklein” (= grandchild) was not correct and should be his “sun” (= son) — although, when he indeed was his grandson this could have been via a son of one of Johels children, e.g. Salomon — cf the many Taxbook entries in the following years where only were mentions of Mair Johel and his offspring]

children:
# Besle/ Pessel (d. aft 1450) >>
# Selckman/ Seligman, mentioned in 1426 as Johel’s son in the “Jahrregister” (p.271), see above.

Actum feria quinta ante purificationem Marie anno etc. XXX secundo” . [1432 Jan. 31] and: cf Taxbook II (p.70): Salomon des Johels sun gibt ein jar 22 guldein werung . ( Mortuus est . ) ( Relicta sua resignavit ir burgrecht feria tertia ante Walburgis anno 37.) [( 1437 April 30 )]
# Mair (b. abt 1420) [likely the same as the above mentioned “eneklein” (grandson?)] >>
