Notes for Samuel b’ Jacob Levi Groenewoud
1810 Steenbergen (BR /census:) “Wijk B nr 116 -- Samuel Levy (34, b. Steenbergen)” .... (total 4 other persons, his wife and two sons and (!!) as last one: “David Samuel (54 b. Holstijn)” [NB: is this David Samuel his uncle? or another descendant of Samuel Goldschmidt Lemgo Levi/segal] [cf the notes of his father Jacob Levy]
9.9.1816 living in Budel, stated as Samuel Levij, notifying the birth of his daughter Clara; witness Simon Levie, age 50.
28.1.1832 living in Valkenswaard, stated as Samuel Levij Groenewoudt (slagter, age 50) notifying the death of his neighbour Simon Levi, 76 years old, born in “Mets in Duitsland”, parents not known. [maybe the same Simon Levie who was living earlier in Budel? though there is a rather big difference in age]
