“... at young age he was sent to Poland by his father to study Torah..…he got engaged to Sulka the daughter of the renowned Talmud scholar Chaim Boas and he himself became an esteemed and wise Rabbi…..Only after seventeen years of marriage his wife got their first child: daughter Sara…..and seven years after her birth they would get a second child: son Shmuel. But before that, it must have been around 1655, they had to flee from Poznan to escape the Chmielnicky Pogroms — moving to his family in Hameln and from there with the help of his father to Hannover where he came in trouble…..and back in Hameln his troubles kept on.”
