He initiated the building of the Synagogue of Wesel.
After being a highly successful Court-Factor to Friedrich III in Berlin, he became entangled in big troubles and was a scapegoat, ending up in the Spandau prison of Berlin — which ruined his health. He died a few days after his relaese. His widow was completely destitute.
