‘ha Rofe’ [= the Doctor] — “he died in the 70th year of his life”
He learned Latin in Heidelberg and studied Medical science in Italy (Siena, Pisa and Padua). In the meantime he was assistant to Dr Benedict a Castro, court-physician to the Queen of Sweden.
1669 februari: promotion in Padua — june: permitted to practice as jewish doctor in Frankfurt
Both his sons Libman and Judman studied medicine in Leiden, the Netherlands.
