1610 Worms, mention on the List of jewish households: in the house “zum Engel”: “daughter of Benedict and Vögele”
1623 Worms, quoting ®50 the Schatzungsliste: Mosche, the son of Beifuß zum Korb had married Schönge, the daughter of Benedict zu Kassel and a (grand)daughter of the physician Beifuß zur Blume (StA Worms Abt. 1 B Nr. 1393/15, Bl. 23 VS; and Nr. 1393/20, Bl. 1 VS)
NB: in the same period is in Frankfurt one Moshe b’ Beifuss k”ts zum Korb — his father “ha-Parnas” Beifuss (d. 1634) is nr 30 on the Ele Toldot “HausBlatt” (Record-sheet) of the House “Korb” and also (overlappingly) nr 5 on the Haus-Blatt of the “goldenes Ross” where he was living during his last marriage. Here his son Moshe (gestb. 1658) is stated together with 3 other children of Beifuss, but he has no peronal ET entry (Record sheet), seemingly because he did not die in Frankfurt. [Question: was in Worms also a house named “Korb” ? — further research in due time]
