[NB, uncertain assumptions: #1 She may well be a sister of Sara Samson (b’.1759 Metz, France) who was married to Aron van den Meijdenberg). #2 other possibility: As the hebrew (signature) name of her second son Simon is “Simcha” (a seldom seen version for Simon) she might well be the sister of the gabbay Marcus Simon (Mordechai bar Simcha) in Oisterwijk, where she may have met her husband; another fact sustaining this assumption is that the first time that Jonas is registered in the taxlists of Veghel (1771), he is wrongly stated as “Jonas Moses Simons”, in later years as “Jonas Samuel, Jew”]
