1559 He was a young child when his father died. [ET, quoting Ju.1561-9v: “Bei s. Tod hinterliess er [Isak] ein kleines kind, Mordechai z Einhorn und Bestellte z Vormund seinen Bruder, einen von der Mutterseite und als Nichtverwandte Jakob z Blume” — 3 Guardians were appointed by Isak Aachaffenburg over his little child Mordechai z Einhorn: (1) his brother (Simon), (2) one from his mother’s side and (3) as non-related: Jakob z Blume. [conclusion is that Merdche/Mordechai was born between 1550 and 1555]
