[so his birthyear can’t be much earlier than 1480]1490 while the situation of the jewish inhabitants of Nürnberg had become more and more restricted and they all were forbidden to work any longer with gold and silver, only one exception was made for Mosse von Schaffhausen and his family: His sons Maier and Jizchak were permitted to

1498 Isaac is mentioned amongst the 16 representants of the jewish community, being on 31.10.1498 summoned in the Townhall’s Courtroom to receive the King’s order that all jewish families were expelled from the town: “Mosse von Schaffhausen, … Isaak Mosse….”, etc

1515 — [seemingly not married yet] He acquires the “Judenbürgerschaft” in Mainz — together with his father “Mostel” and (2nd?) spouse and also with his brother-in-law “Lasar”

abt 1543 Frankfurt — He is married 2nd (or 3rd) to Blum b’ Jossel z Einhorn and settled in the House of her family.
1550 — He becomes “Vormund” (guardian custodian) of the children of his deceased
brother Josef b’ Moshe Goldschmidt mi Schwarzach
1556 — He becomes “Vormund” (guardian custodian) of the children of his deceased
own son Josef /Juspa b’ Isak Goldschmidt zu Pfau
He died 21.5.1559. He was buried next to his father [Epidat
®30]. At the well-known Cemetery at the Battonstrasse still is his Tombstone — with the epitaph
