Notes for Hindchen b’ Herts Oppenheim
[Ele Toldot, sk:] “….die alte Hindchen......buried next to her father Hirts Oppenhaim” ®29.
her cousin is Samuel b’ Simon-Wolf Oppenheim, Court-factor to the Emperor in Wien ®33 — she and the firm of her husband and her sons [referred to as ‘Isaks Goldschmidts Erben’ on 9.4.1687 ®33] are representing Samuel in Frankfurt (!), with the consequences of nearly going broke after Samuel’s death and the downfall of Vienna’s economy, shortly after 1700
House “Wanne” — [? 5463 = 1703 moving to “Kamel”, with her grandchildren Nathan (b’ Samuel) Lemgo and Fraidche]
[NB: elsewhere her parents are erroneously mentioned as Simon-Wolf Oppenheim & Edel Bacharach, they were her uncle and aunt]
